Transformation. A slow ritual in Hamburg
Some things don’t reveal themselves the moment they’re made. They reveal themselves in the waiting.
This is a workshop built around that kind of process, the one that continues long after you’ve gone, quietly, unwitnessed, taking its own time to become what it will become.
Each session begins with an envelope. Your name written by hand on the outside. Inside, everything you need to begin.
You’ll read a card. Then you’ll write, not a goal, not a resolution, but a gift you choose to give yourself today.
Then your hands begin to work.
You’ll make 4 cold process soaps.
Using natural and vegan ingredients, each with its own history.
Olive oil: The ingredient of endurance. What gives lasting softness, not immediate, accumulated over time. Like everything that matters.
Cacao butter: from the Theobroma tree, which in Greek means literally food of the gods. The ingredient of depth. What gives the soap its body, its density, the feeling of something that truly nourishes.
Coconut oil: Crossing oceans for centuries, carried by sea currents from island to island. What creates the lather, the visible, the immediate, what appears on the surface.
You’ll choose a color. A scent. A flower.
The process doesn’t end when the workshop does.
You’ll leave that day carrying your soap still in its mold, soft, still becoming.
For six weeks it will cure in silence. Transforming without you watching. And when it’s ready, it will arrive at your home.
The delivery is the third part of this experience.
It’s called Clarity.
Inside the box, your soaps complete. Connecting back to what you wrote the day you made your soaps.
What you’ll take with you
That day, your soap in its mold, still curing. An envelope you sealed yourself. A small card for the six weeks ahead.
Six weeks later, at your door: a box with your name written by hand. Your finished soap. Spots are limited to 5 people per session
What you made that day kept becoming.
So did you.
